Description

The iconic LP by John Lennon released in 1971 on the Apple label (PAS 10004), issued on custom Apple labels in a laminated sleeve.

The Inner sleeve has credits in a spiral, with artist photos; flipside has lyrics in a 'starburst' style, printed black on white paper. "Patent No.1,125,555 Made In Great Britain".

This copy comes with the scarce lyric inner sleeve and 3 x postcards of John with a pig.  I think there was also a  poster originally but this has disappeared into the mists of time.

I believe that this record is a first pressing on the Apple label with the following matrix numbers machine stamped on side one - YEX 865-1U and side two - YEX 866-1U.   "PORKY" and "PECKO" are hand etched .  If anyone thinks I’m mistaken please contact me.

Condition: sleeve G+ (there is a tiny sticker top RHS - see photo), lyric inner sleeve VG, postcards NM, record VG.

Selling only as currently sorting through our album collection and my partner and I have many duplicates.
