Description
John Lennon, Mind Games, 1980 Canadian Repress on Capitol Records.
This is a unique opportunity to purchase a factory sealed record that is over 40 years old.
I have identified it as this pressing due to the catalogue number: SW 3414, the text 'Printed in Canada' which can be seen on the spine and the Capitol Records logo on the rear of the sleeve.
Presumably the record was sold in the US as it has a price sticker in US dollars and an American flag on the outer cellophane wrapper.
The outer cellophane wrapper doesn't appear to have ever been opened.
Unlike many sealed records the corners are still very sharp and there are no bends or creases in the sleeve from the wrapping being too tight.
I can't provide any more of a description than this as this is all I can see.
I have always been tempted to open it but I managed to resist.
A must buy for any John Lennon completist collector!
The record will be posted in a padded vinyl record mailer.
