Mega RARE Factory Sample issue of John Lennon's UK album Rock n Roll and the vinyl is in superb condition.  John Lennon Rock n Roll Apple 1975. FACTORY SAMPLE label on the B-side. FIRST PRESSING with the 1U 1U matrix. Lots of 80s reissues are being passed off as first pressings but 80s pressings don't have the 1U 1U matrix on BOTH sides.  You might get a 1U 3U but all these reissues have a 3 digit number running vertically like 157 or 163 or 159 etc. Also the EMI bags have a date like 7/80 or 1/81 but can easily be  replaced with other EMI bags. Collectors should be aware of this. PCS7169  Matrix YEX 943 -1U & YEX 944 -1U also etched in the groove is SK-1-3419-Z9 and SK-2-3419-Z9 and at 9 and 3 o'clock in the run out grooves 1 G G/ 2 C D  Vinyl is Near MINT and is play tested both sides ( again another LP which I've only played maybe 2 or 3 times in over 40 odd years of my ownership, including just now) and it plays great. Small mark on Stand By Me, some very light crackle in-between some songs. A couple of light clicks right at the end of Just Because. The original 75/04 Garrod & Lofthouse very thin matt sleeve is VG with a 2 inch split to top edge, corner tip/edge wear, some tiny creases. Rear ring rub. This sleeve as lettering along the top edge and spine. Top edge lettering: Black Rock n Roll just visible and White PCS 7169 nice and clear.  Spine lettering: Black John Lennon printing just about visible and the PCS 7169 white lettering is still nice and clear.. Original White EMI Patent NO 1,125,555  bag is VG+ with no splits, Some creasing. Please look at and study all the pics. If you need more let me know.
