For the serious collector of rock vinyl, I will be listing over the next ten days some very rare items from my years as a promotion man in the music industry. All have never been played, some are white label promotional copies, some are test pressings and some, like the one I’m listing here, are still in their original, un-broken shrink wrap. From 1980, we have for a no reserve auction, a truly amazing copy of the John Lennon, Yoko Ono “Double Fantasy” album on Geffen Records GHS 2001. Front of jacket not only retains it original factory installed “Contains Sticker” but also the DISC-O-Mat price sticker with a list of 8.98, marked down to 5.99. I don’t believe there is a finer copy available anywhere.
