Description
On offer here is a UK MONO pressing of the album LONDON CONVERSATION by JOHN MARTYN. The Cat. No is ILP952 on the BLUE ISLAND label. This pressing dates from the 1980s. The matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1, ILP 952 A-2U. Side 2 ILP 952 B-2U.
THE LABELS are in EX condition with NO WRITING and just a few light spindle marks.
THE VINYL cosmetically is in EX+ condition. There is hardly a mark, just a handful of light wispy bag removal lines and scuffs, none of which are feelable. I have played it through and it sounded great. There were NO WARPS, JUMPS or STICKS and no noticeable background noise during playback, just the odd light static click noticeable on the run ins and between tracks. A very enjoyable listen, playback grades as EX+.
THE INNER SLEEVE is a plain black poly lined inner in EX condition with no writing or tears.
THE COVER is the ORIGINAL non laminated matt cover manufactured in UK. This is in VG+ condition, there are NO TEARS, SPLITS or WRITING, just some light age related discolouration, a scratch across the letter ‘N’ in conversation and light bumping to the corners. The edges are 100% sound and the spine is legible.
