DESCRIPTION: John Martyn- Solid Air LP.  Unusual white palm tree label issue with island advertising inner sleeve in absolute top condition. Kept in a heavy PVC sleeve from new. Sounds great and there are some great songs on this.  Postage cost includes tracking and a box/cruciform mailer.  LABEL/CATALOGUE NUMBER: Island ILPM 9226. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1980s?. COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE: UK. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX+/EX+. Vinyl is very clean with a dark sheen.   Played passages of this this morning. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds immaculate.  Music is clear, clean and loud.  Cover is in top condition. It is firm and square with great shape to edges. It has negligible edge wear , negligible corner wear and negligible creasing.  Advertising inner is NM. It is super clean and white with only negligible  wear and no splits.  Immaculately clean labels- check out the photos. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER BLUES/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
