John Mayall And The Bluesbreakers  "A Hard Road"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on London LL 3502  from 1967.       This is the Mono pressing of his second US album.     The labels are red, with silver print and 'London' in a box.

The band on this record is John Mayall, Peter Green, John McVie, and Aynsley Dunbar.     Peter Green has replaced Eric Clapton.   Green would later help form Fleetwood Mac and have a long solo carrier.     John McVie would later form Fleetwood Mac.       Aynsley Dunbar would drum for almost everyone in the future ( including : John Lennon, Flo & Eddie, Jefferson Starship, Journey, Mick Ronson, Frank Zappa, and his own band : Anysley Dunbar's Retaliation ).

The music is classic British blues.   Peter Green does a great job replacing Clapton.   Every song is good.     It was produced by Mike Vernon and engineered by Gus Dudgeon.    It was recorded on October 11, 12, 19, 24, and November 11, 1966.    There were no singles issued from this album.

This is hard to find in Mono.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG++ /  Record is VG++

The cover is VG++  with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits.   There is minor corner wear and light overall wear on the back cover.    The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG++.    There are a few very light paper marks, but no scratches.     The labels are clean with very light spindle marks.  The record comes in an old London inner sleeve. 

The songs are : A Hard Road, It's Over, You Don't Love Me, The Stumble, Another Kinda Love, Hit The Highway, Leaping Christine, Dust My Blues, There's Always Work, The Same Way, The Supernatural, Top Of The Hill, Someday After Awhile, and Living Alone.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.   I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number.   ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
