John Mayall – Looking Back – Mono – Decca LK5010 - 1969
Has songs from 1964 to 1969
Side 1 run off has ARL-8987.P-1A
Side 2 run off has ARL-8988.P-1A
The record looks in very good condition – it looks like it has had very little play - the sound is bright. There are some surface marks that look like scratches (particularly on track 6, side 1) but there are only some crackles/clicks at the beginning of one track and at the end of another. A “deep clean” would probably help it a lot.
The centre labels are in very good undamaged condition.
The Crarifoil cover has some very slight corner bumping. The front has a small crease and the lamination has lifted a little near the spine. The rear has a very shallow score mark and a small crease. The gatefold centre has the odd mark and has become a little “unglued” from the outside cover – should be an easy repair if desired.
The original red inner sleeve with plastic insert has some very slight discolouration and some small creases
