Description
Original UK Decca unboxed blue label stereo press LP.The last Bluesbreakers LP and a more low key jazz blues sound with Mick Taylor, Peter Green, Dick Heckstall-Smith and Jon Hiseman (later going on to founding Colosseum) etc. With the 'JT' tax code, earliest 1-W/1-W matrices and 1-U 1-H mother stampers!
The Robert Stace front laminated gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX+ condition, with some very light edge/corner wear on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the company inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only one or two faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings. The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with definately no clicks, pops, skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves and overall a really great listen! The matrix nos. are; ZAL-9340-1-W, 1-U stamper, ZAL-9341-1-W, 1-H stamper. This is one of the very early copies of the 1st press of the original 1968 UK stereo issue of this album!
