LP Grading Definitions   Mint (M) = Still sealed, brand new item.  Near Mint (NM or EX) = Played maybe once, near brand new / or still sealed old store stock.  Very Good Plus (VG+) = Very clean copy, little to no surface noise, slight paper scuffs, light scratches that do not greatly affect play. Any surface noise should be minimal or natural and only be heard in quiet passages or dead wax.  Very Good (VG) = Player copy, more pronounced scuffs and light scratches that do affect play, but do not overpower the music. Music should still be listenable, any surface noise should be subtle.  Very Good- (VG-) = Record has scuffs and light scratches all over, but none that cause the record to skip. Music may be overpowered by surface noise.  Good (G) = Covered in scratches, some can be felt with a fingernail. visible at every angle. May *Pop or *Tick, throughout, overwhelming the music, but will still play through without skipping.
