Description

Rarely seen compilation of unusual recordings from the BBC Archive selected by DJ and presenter John Peel, with a wonderful selection of items from South Africa, Romania, Bali, Ethiopia, Turkey, Tibet, Malaysia, Australia, USSR, New Guinea, Austria and Nigeria, amongst others. 

This 28-track selection covers everything from lightning speed polkas to children's playground songs, rarely heard ethnic instruments to wellington boot dances, to powerful gospel field recordings. Fascinating listen. 

Sleeve is in very close to excellent condition - just a little spine wear and a tiny bit of surface loss on the back cover bottom corner. 

The vinyl looks to have had very few plays, and is bright, glossy and in near mint condition. 

The labels are excellent, and the lined inner sleeve (with a bit of age browning and minor creasing) is VG+.
