Description
This is Prestige Records PR 7233, John Wright Mr. Soul, a yellow fireworks label, original mono issue of this trio session with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing some light marks and playing quietly except for some moments of light background interference at the beginning of side 1, caused by the pressing, and a very small mark causing 6 clicks to start the side. The cover shows a bit of ring wear but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent. An excellent collector's grade copy of this beautiful original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be listing over the next few months. Please check our other listings.
