“Don’t Cut the Baby in Half” Private pressing #S6-6687. No date given for this LP from Christian folk rock artist, John Ylvisaker, but I’m guessing it’s dated from around the mid 60’s. It was recorded live at Northwestern Seminary Convocation by Kaybank Recording Crop. The band consists of Ylvisaker, his wife Amanda, Paul Romstad, Mikkel Romstad, Bill Strom & Steve Gronseth. Tracks: The Prophecy, Joseph, Gifts, Rich Young Ruler, Water of Life, Desolation, They can’t Kill Me (I’ve Already Died), Anxiety, title cut, The Noise of your Solemn Assemblies, The Noodle in the Alphabet Soup, Dog Spelled Backwards, He’s got the Whole Baby in his Hands, O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing.
