Description
Hello record collectors and vinyl junkies, I'm in the process of selling off the majority of my record collection to finance the ongoing restoration of a classic car...hopefully without going bankrupt! So please check back often, as I'll be listing hundreds of LPs over the next few months.
Anyway, let's continue with this one by Johnny Carson Johnny Carson's Introduction To New York and The World's Fair released by Columbia Records in 1964 (CS 8999 "360 Sound" Stereo) Original pressing red "360 Sound" label with black print and 2 "eye" logos. LP comes with gatefold cover with liner notes by Carson inside.
Johnny leads the listener on a tour thru New York City and the New York World's Fair of 1964 on these recordings. He offers advice and suggestions on where to eat and stay in the city and can't miss sights at the fair.
Please see cover and label photos for complete track listing.
If this one caught your eye, be sure to check my other listing this week for many more weird, strange and crazy vinyl gems...you won't be disappointed!
The LP has a few light marks that are visible under a bright spotlight that cause some occasional bits of surface noise when played. Cover has a red promo stamp on the inside cover but no seam splits, cut out marks, writing, rips, tears or other issues.
I grade on a stricter scale than Goldmine (at least the watered down version that seems to exist here on eBay) I will take the time to describe any flaws on both the cover and record itself rather than give a letter grade that will mean something different to seemingly every record buyer and seller.
Sorry if the photos above appear washed out...this is caused by the camera flash...the colors are brighter and bolder in person.
Please feel free to email with any questions but keep in mind that unless there is a "Buy It Now" price listed above, I will not respond to any questions or offers to end an auction early...Thanks for your understanding!
The fine print:
Payment is due within three days after end of the auction. I only accept payment through Paypal - if you do not have a Paypal account, please email me BEFORE bidding to inquire about alternative payment methods.
Due to overwhelming requests, I generally ship domestic packages by Media Mail. However, please keep in mind that while Media Mail is the cheapest shipping method, it is also the slowest. Media Mail can take several weeks or MORE to arrive. Media Mail shipping within the United States is $4.00 including mandatory Delivery Confirmation.
I do combine shipping for multiple purchases. The $4.00 covers between one and two albums. Additional albums (three and up) are an additional .50 cents each. Please wait for an invoice from me as the Paypal system does not calculate the combined shipping.
Overseas shipping is by Air Mail only. Shipping for one LP to Canada is $15.50 and everywhere else in the world is $23.00. Overseas shipping is by regular air mail and can take anywhere from one to four weeks to arrive. I do combine shipping on overseas purchases - I will send an invoice with the combined shipping cost if you purchase more than one LP.
Sorry I no longer ship to Italy or the Russian Federation due to the high number of "lost" packages.
All records are mailed in cardboard record mailers with cardboard inserts to prevent damage. LP will be removed from the cover to prevent seam splits while in transit.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
