This is absolutely STUNNING. It is Johnny Cash's first album on Sun Records - WITH HIS HOT AND BLUE GUITAR - and it is in virtually brand new condition. This is the ORIGINAL MONO PRESSING (Sun LP 1220), and not the later Stereo version. RARE, RARE, RARE!!! I can pretty much promise you will have a very hard time finding another one in this shape. This was from stock sold to the Shelby Singleton Corporation in the early 70's when they bought all the music from Sun Records. The album had been stored in the vaults at Sun Records since 1957. It has never been played, so the vinyl is about as mint as it gets. The labels on both sides of the record are perfect. The cover is also virtually brand new, NO SEAM SPLITS, and, no ring wear. In fact, I don't know that the record was ever even placed in the cover. When I obtained them they were separate, with the record in a plain white cover, just as I will ship it to you. I honestly think this is in better condition than it would be if it were a still sealed copy from the 1950's, because that would undoubtedly have ring wear.
