Description
1969 original pressing of Johnny Cash's classic "Live At San Quentin" album. Record has very slight surface noise at the beginning of each side, and a pop in the middle of the second version of "San Quentin", but otherwise plays through just fine. Album cover has very minor shelf wear, but looks incredible for its age. The paper inner sleeve is original, and includes advertisements for other classic albums from the same era, including Bob Dylan's "Nashville Skyline" and Janis Joplin's "Kozmic Blues".
This album comes from the collection of Sandy Gibson, musicologist and former director of publicity at Atlantic Records. Gibson is one-half of the Musiographi online selling team.
