Here is an ultra- rate one-sided 1970 LP of Johnny Cash narrating Private John G. Burnett’s 1890 eyewitness account of the removal of the Cherokee Indians from Georgia, North Carolina, and Eastern Tennessee to Oklahoma in 1838-39. This LP was produced by the Nashville based Historic Landmarks Association for use in schools and libraries and was never made commercially available. There were probably no more than a few hundred of these ever produced.
The cover of this LP grades VG . It has writing on the front in felt tip, some small pieces of masking tape on the front and back, some spots of discoloration, and a partially torn-off sticker on the front. It comes with a typewritten sheet describing the contents of the LP on one side and explaining the plans of the Historic Landmarks Association on the other.
