Description
JOHNNY GRIFFIN QUARTET, Argo LP-624, deep groove pressing, black label. This is not the Kangaroo Split-Pak cover, but a slightly later one piece version of the same cover.
On this 1956 recording, the musicians are Johnny Griffin (tenor sax), Junior Mance (piano), Wilbur Ware (bass), Buddy Smith (drums).
The tunes are I Cried For You, Satin Wrap, Yesterdays, Riff-Raff, Bee-Ees, The Boy Next Door, These Foolish Things, Lollypop.
Condition of record is E-, one very light scuff, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket shows some overall wear, 1 inch seam split bottom right, 3/4 inch sticker tear on front, visible in photo.

E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
