Mega Rare LP of Johnny Hodges Collates (Clef 10" MGC-111 - mono) Original black labels with DSM trumpeter logo and deep groove on both sides. One of Hodges' early classics also features Lawrence Brown, Billy Strayhorn, Al Sears and others in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in solid VG+ condition with marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - actually pretty nice for an LP of this vintage. The David Stone Martin cover is in solid VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear and a pinhole in the upper center, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, No stamps (there is an original catalogue sticker on the front - see the photo). Not perfect, but how many originals on these do you see anymore?
