Description

Dancers log against a dark, forest green colored record label. This is part of the "Dance Series" 5 tracks include Hodges (alto sax on all tracks); Arthur Clarke, tenor sax; Harold Baker, trumpet; Lawrence Brown, trombone; Leroy Lovett, piano; John Williams, bass; Louis Bellson, drums. 1 track includes Al Hibler, vocal with Hodges, alto sax; Flip Phillips, tenor sax; Emmett Berry, trumpet; Brown, trombone; Ray Brown, bass; J.C.Heard, drums. 1 track includes Hibbler, vocal with Hodges, alto sax; Ben Webster, tenor sax; Berry , trumpet; Brown, trombone; Lovett, piano; Recd Callender, bass; Heard, drums. David Stone Martin cover art. Very rare edition.

Cover: Fair 7" aging scotch tape repair on the bottom edge. Only a 4" and 1" split are noticeable on that edge. Top edge has completely split. A few light stain marks on the front cover. These are transparent and barely visible. Some corner and wear on the spine. A few scuff marks on the back cover and some light aging. There is some minor damage of separation along part of the insert edge. These described conditions are function of ordinary handing over a long period of time.

Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. Possibly played several times but handled with care and no indications of wear. This is in contrast to the described cover. Except for a minor, very infrequent click, no surface noise. Fine quality and sound. Audibly checked.
