Johnny Thunders ORIG UK LP So alone EX ’78 Real RAL1 NY Punk Heartbreakers
Original UK 1st Press LP released in 1978 on Real Records. Cat: RAL1. Comes with printed inner bag which is in Near Mint condition.Following the drug-fueled implosion of the Heartbreakers, Johnny Thunders bounced back with his first solo outing, So Alone. Featuring a veritable who's who of '70s punk and hard rock Chrissie Hynde, Phil Lynott, Peter Perrett, Steve Marriott, Paul Cook, and Steve Jones, among others the record was a testament to what the former New York Dolls guitarist could accomplish with a little focus. Much like Thunders' best work with the Dolls and Heartbreakers, So Alone is a gloriously sloppy amalgam of R&B, doo wop, and three-chord rock & roll. Despite the inevitable excesses that plagued every Thunders recording session, Steve Lillywhite's solid engineering job and a superb set of songs hold everything together.
Tracks : Pipe line/ You can’t put your arms round a memory/ Great big kiss/ Ask me no questions/ Leave me alone/ Daddy rollin’ stone/ London boys/ Untouchable/ Subway train/ Downtown. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. There are 2 tiny surface tears on B-side label on bottom right edge. Record has a few light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condtion. Cover has minor scuffing on corners and is in Near Mint condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
