Description
Up for auction is the
Mega rare Jerry Jones featuring Johnny Winter on Thrill Records 45-1840 45.
Songs are It's Almost Midnight & Ice Cube.
Johnny Winter's first recording apparently pre-dating the Dart session by a couple of months in 1959. Johnny has songwriting credit on both with Midnight being a Jones vocal with a bit of guitar, but the flip Ice Cube has Johnny playing it out. A great instrumental, especially from a 15 year old. A great record not to be missed!
Record condition - Record plays a VG+ on both sides - a very nice listen, a little bit of wear on the labels but a great record. A very hard and difficult record to find - don't let it get it away.

He has recently learned that this record was released in the 1963-64 time period. The website originally listed this as a 1959 release, but he received information from Johnny himself that the Dart issue is the first issue. He is in the process of updating the site. Still a very rare and desirable record, plus we learn a bit of history on ebay as well. Thanks again and good luck!
