Original OZ LP released in 1988 on Festival Records. Cat: L19008.
Johnny Young will always be best remembered as the gentle, ever-smiling host of Young Talent Time, but back in the Sixties he was a bona fide pop idol and TV star. Johnny spent three frantic years as one of Australia’s top beat performers but his pop career fizzled out after an unsuccessful attempt to break into the UK scene, so he branched out in several directions, becoming a radio DJ, TV presenter, songwriter and record and TV producer. Although more on the pop/Beat side both tracks here have a great garage guitar sound. The B-side (a version of the Everly Brothers tune) is the tougher of the tow.

Record is in Near Mint condition. Cover has light ring wear and marks and is in Excellent condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
