Description
This album was recorded in 1969 in New York City with three vintage Chicago musicians:Otis Spann (piano),Sammy Lawhorn (guitar,bass) and S. P. Leary(drums), together with some fine harmonica from a relative newcomer at the time - Paul Osher.Johnny,himself, plays mandolin and guitar plus supplying vocals.The release was on Mike Vernon's highly regarded Blue Horizon label so there is really no need to say that the sound quality is of the very highest standard

The quality of the sleeve has to be described as only in "good" condition as there is bad scuffing at the top left and less serious scuffing along the remainder. The rest of the sleeve is very sound. Hopefully this should not detract too much from the rarity and great interest of the album itself. The record, itself, has a few minor surface marks but these do not in any way detract from the general sound quality which is great.From a visual perspective I have to describe it as "very good".
