HOLD YOUR BREATH FOR THIS ONE......... A FULLY SIGNED 1967 picture sleeve copy of 'Desdemona' by ''Johns Children'' on Track records in EX/Near MINT shape!!! These very rarely show up with picture sleeve, the single was also BANNED by the radio authorities because of Bolan's ''sexual'' lyrics - a MONSTER psych/beat 2 sider, ''Remember Thomas A Beckett'' is the b-side, superb also!!! This also has a paper insert which I was told was a sort of mini promo sheet (?)... I paid quite a bit for this (£100+) at a collectors fair a few years back, and its a lovely piece - it has been signed by ''Andy'' (Ellison, vocals), ''John'' (bass), ''Chris'' (Drums), and BEST OF ALL - ***''Marc'' (Bolan, guitar)*** hellishly rare whatever the case, As with all my sales, I am about to invest in a very expensive vintage guitar, so need to raise money, and to be fair I've NEVER spun this since buying it for fear of damage - this is the ONLY reason I've decided to let this go!!! As most people know, Marc Bolan was a star with T-REX in the 70s, his work in the mid to late 60s was just as prolific and just as good, and it is getting sooooo hard to find anything with his autograph on - this has been kept in a 7'' singles box and I personally havent played it - and the previous owner maybe only once or twice!!!
On 25-Oct-03 at 20:01:04 BST, seller added the following information: i have had a LOT of interest in this single, as expected, i have tried to take photos of the signatures of the band (andy in a lilac/pink type ink or pencil crayon?, chris, john and marc all in a blue ink which are signed near their faces, though it looks like Andy has either double signed or added what looks like ''Andy E x JC'' under his face whilst his signature is signed in the white border of the sleeve also, marc and John have added kisses ''x'' to theirs, presumably originally collected by a female fan, who knows???), they are the best i can do on my mini digi camera, im happy to take more if i can help to show you the item fully, please EMAIL i will forward them to you
