Description
Joni Mitchell – Clouds SEALED 1969 orig Gate fold Wrap Wow ! Label: Reprise Records – RS 6341 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Misprint, Gatefold Country: Canada Released: 1969 Genre: Rock, Folk, World, & Country Style: Folk Rock
Canadian artist - Canadian pressing.
The album has never been opened - is still factory sealed in loosely fitting Gate fold wrap. Gate fold wrap means it was wrapped so that without breaking the plastic wrap you could open it and look at the inside of the gate fold before you bought it. Unique to some 1960s records. (It was a good idea that was only done for a while on some pressings. First pressings of The Beatles Sergent Pepper came this way in Canada). Retail prices in black marker - 3.95 crossed out and a 2.99 sale price - landing this firmly in the late 60s and early 70s when records cost that little.
Quite an amazing find.
Condition: NO CUT OUT HOLE AND NO SEAM SPLITTING. NO SIGN OF WEAR OR DAMAGE. Very small wear mark in the upper right on the front - tiny flaw in the "barely worth mentioning" department - see photo, but its small enough that it is hard to see. Small hole in the plastic wrap in that area as well.
