João Carlos Martins ~ J.S. Bach The Well-Tempered Clavier
COMPLETE 7-LP BOX SET!
João Carlos Martins plays Bach on piano. It's a gorgeous set of works.
Condition:
Box: Some shelf wear, and age wear. Nothing major. All the corners are intact and solid. The inner box that holds the records and insert is perfect, strong, and sturdy as well.
Vinyl:
All 7 LPs visually do show very light superficial scuff lines. The inner sleeves are all paper, so it's probably from taking the vinyl in/out of the paper sleeves.
Other than the very light surface marks, there are only two or three spots worth noting:
Side 9: There is a couple scuff spots (see photos).
Side 5: A visible surface scratch line. (see photos).
I played these sides with a high-end stylus after cleaning them. The playback seemed to be minimally affected. Frankly, I didn't even really hear anything much at all other than normal surface wear noise.
So, overall, a solid VG condition. And I grade conservatively.
If you want perfect mint then look elsewhere. If you want a very nice copy for playback, then this is it. It's truly a great set. However, it is sold AS-IS. No refunds.
The set will be shipped in a proper record mailer and safely packed - I will leave the records in the inner box and wrap the outer box in bubble wrap and place in a solid cardboard mailer.
