Description

Here is a nice copy of a Josephine Baker LP on a 10" Columbia LP # 33 FS 1023 from the 1950's(?).

I play tested some of the vinyl and it played Near Mint, but oh so close to Mint! It has been well preserved all these years!
The cover is Near Mint. The front cover with the beautiful image of Josephine is in Mint condition. The back cover shows some wear and aging. So I graded the cover as Near Mint.
Also on the back cover is a Columbia Records discography showing LP's by other Columbia artists like Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet and others.

On the front cover there is a sticker that says "Souvenir- Bruno Coquatrip- Nouvel- Olympia- Panoramique-Votre Music Hall.
But next is a white oval in which appears to be the autograph of Josephine Baker! I compared the way in which some of the letters are made to other autographs that are up for sale and I definitely see a great similarity!
I have provided closeups of the autograph area for everyone to check out. ** Please understand that I am not saying definitely that this is her autograph. But again some of the letters are very intricately done and do look like the way that Josephine wrote those letters. I am not an autograph specialist, but I do see a closeness to other verified autographs.

It also looks like that autograph had to be squeezed into that white oval, which is only about 2 1/2" wide.

It looks to me as if Josephine was appearing at the Olympia and was signing autographs, but who knows?
Shipping/ Handling will be $5.99 Media Mail within the U.S. See my other records for sale on Ebay this week by clicking "Seller's other items."
