Description
SELLING OFF PART OF MY JOY DIVISION COLLECTION! Up for sale here is: Joy Division - ATMOSPHERE - Original 12" 1980 UK Factory FACUS 2 - ORIGINAL inner sleeve - TRANSLUCENT! RARE! Vinyl was played and listened to in completion prior to listing and played well. Vinyl can still use a light cleaning, however.
A Factory Records (U.S.) Inc. Product re-released in the United Kingdom.
Pressed on dark red translucent vinyl. It can only be differentiated when holding against a strong light source. The sleeve is identical but printed on a matt cardboard while the black vinyl issue is pressed on very glossy cardboard.
First UK Pressing Variant - Rear sleeve has 'UK' printed at bottom.
Matrix / Runout (Side A): FACUS 2 A1? 2 HERE ARE THE YOUNG MEN. A PORKY PRIME CUT.
Matrix / Runout (Side B): FACUS 2 A?2? B2 BUT WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN. A PORKY PRIME CUT.
Translucency is very hard to photograph and had to be done outside quickly in the direct sun. Outer sleeve has only very minor wear/creasing and staining. Original inner sleeve is very clean with only very minor wear. Vinyl has been visually graded as VG+. Vinyl plays well. Please see photos for more details. I can send more photos via message on here if anyone is interested.
Record will be packaged properly with the vinyl in a generic paper sleeve and packaged separately from the original sleeves in a corrugated cardboard record mailer.
