FAC-2 A Factory Sample.
The first Factory release.
Two singles in gatefold sleeve featuring tracks by Joy Division, The Durutti Colum, John Dowie and Cabaret Voltaire.
Graded Excellent/Excellent.
I'm not a collector but simply disposing of the last of my 1970s vinyl. The records have been graded for me by a collector.
All the records have been photographed outside in natural light - apparent blemishes are a reflection of overhead branches!

There was one more sticker, imaged above. It's still on it's backing paper. The matrix numbers and inscriptions read, as best I can make them out:
Joy Division: everything. FAC2-A1
Durutti Col: is repairable. FAC2-B1
John Dowie: everything. FAC2-C1
Cabaret Voltaire: is broken. FAC2-D1
Each side also has initials, looks like TB
The edge of the black vinyl at the periphery of the silver centre has a low serrated band. The paper backing sheets for ALL the stickers are printed as follows: CRACKBACK PATENTED and FASPRINT PERMANENT 2. There is also a printed image of hands folding the sheet with the legend BEND ON LINE. I've posted an image of them.
In response to several further questions: Guaranteed all original. Bought in the week of release in 1979 and played very little before going onto tape. The matrix on the second side of the second disc (Cabaret Voltaire) reads FAC2-D1 - it does not read FAC2-D2. I've imaged the matrix inscriptions from disc one (see above). What's being offered here is the original, 1979 first release of FAC-2 A Factory Sample; it's in its original plastic shrink-wrap sleeve, it has all its original stickers all on their original backing paper and all are as pristine and as shiny as their nature allows. This is not a 12", nor is it a reissue nor is it a fake; either in whole or in part.
