Description
On offer here is a copy of Joy Division's first album Unknown Pleasures in EX/EX condition. Before detailing condition here's the various markings within the run-out grooves:
'Outside': A PORKY PRIME CUT / FACT-10-OUTSIDE 1B / THIS IS THE WAY / T 1 'Inside': A PORKY PRIME CUT / FACT-10-INSIDE / 1A / STEP / u 1 (the 'u' is finely hand-inscribed, a previously stamped code has been scratched out)
The sleeve is in excellent condition with a touch of ring-wear and slight creasing to top and bottom corners on the opening edge. Spine lettering clear and unworn as shown in photo. The inner sleeve has a little age-toning and a few age spots but no creasing.
The black-looking vinyl disc looks to be in EX condition with a few light marks, inevitable given the card inner sleeve. I've played it all the way through and it plays EX as well, no skips or pops, just a little pressing noise in between tracks. Labels are clean with just a few feint spindle marks.
P+P £3.50 for standard second class or £4.50 for second class signed for. Can send special delivery if required. Will be well packed. Thanks for looking.
HANG ON A MINUTE . . . . I've just held the disc up to a very bright LED light and through the run-out grooves the light can be seen and appears . . red . . so I guess this is one of the translucent red vinyl copies, though to the naked eye it just looks black.
