Description
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures UK 1st Press Transculent Red Vinyl, Pye Tranco pressing
The fragile textured sleeve is in overall excellent condition. There is a small amount of wear to the bottom edge and top of spine, a little spine creasing, and a couple of very light thumb creases on the front cover. There is also a small indentation/scratch mark at bottom front left.
The inner sleeve has square corners, some light age spotting and a few light thumb creases near the opening edge.
The disc is red translucent when held up to a strong light. The labels are clean with no spindle marks, and have a ridge on the outside edge.
The runout groove of the black label side has etched THIS IS THE WAY, A PORKY PRIME CUT, FACT 10 - OUTSIDE 1 B and a stamped number 1 The runout groove of the white label side has etched STEP, A PORKY PRIME CUT, FACT 10 - INSIDE 1 A and a stamped number 1
The disc is unmarked and plays beautifully except for a small mark on Inside track 1 which do sound for a few revolutions; there are also some very small marks on the last track which do not sound.
I will post to the UK in a paper mailer with cardboard stiffeners
