Judas Priest Sad Wings Of Destiny LP Record Album Vinyl 1976 Janus Records - Promotional Copy - JXS 7019
This Album is in Excellent + Condition. The sleeve is a little nicked but it is actually from 1976. It also has one of the corners cut off and the reason for this is that the album is a "Promotion Album." It actually has "Promotion Album" printed on the inner label circle on the vinyl.
Back when I was in my 20's the record companies used to send record stores Promotional copies of the their releases for in-store play. They would also send these Promo copies to Used record shops who would sell them to the public as "Used." So to discourage this the Record Companies would cut off a corner of the Sleeve or put a stamp on the outside. But we didn't care. We would but them anyway. They were cheaper and we could listen to bands that we never heard before.
The record itself plays beautifully. I tested it on June 22, 2020 and it played almost perfectly. I say "almost" because it's not new so... There were no skips or pops.
