This appears to be an interesting record, and I have no recollection as to how it ended up in my collection - I certainly didn't buy it from new!
It looks like it could be an original 1973 US or Canadian pressing - but I'm no expert, so please let me know if you know different! It has the gatefold sleeve and the 4 page inlay with lyrics. Appears to be stamped "ST-AS-722713A AJ (or AT?)" on the run-off of side 1 and what looks like "ST-AS-722714A AT/4P" on side 2. The label also indicates manufactured in the U.S.
The condition of the outer sleeve is quite worn and has partly torn along the bottom edge, however the lyric inlay is good. The inner sleeve is very worn so I've put the LP in a new plastic inner sleeve. The vinyl cosmetically doesn't look great (might benefit from a deep clean which I can't give it) but the important thing is that is seems to play ok and sounds great. Plays with some surface noise, no obvious bad scratches, but I've heard a lot worse and again might benefit from a good clean.
I'm unlikely to play this again and it appears it may be a bit of a rarity in these parts and a collector's item, even if it isn't in the greatest condition, so I'm happy for it to go to a new home. I've tried to capture as much detail of its condition as possible in the pics, so please take a good look if you're interested.
