Original VERY FIRST first pressing with UN-LAMINATED GF cover (the sleeve has no printers credits as per all the first original covers from Vertigo), crossed out matrix numbers and  „A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT” text under the  VERTIGO logo ..also has the original swirl Vertigo inner sleeve

THE FIRST PRESS MATRIX MARKINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

THESE MATRIXES ARE PROOF OF THE VERY EARLY NATURE OF THIS PRESSING, WHERE SOUND AND PRESSING ENGINEERS MADE MISTAKES AND TWEAKED THE MATRIX, MOTHER AND STAMPERS ON THE FIRST PRESSING DISC, WHICH WERE THEN TIDIED UP AND MACHINE STAMPED IN THEIR ENTIREITY ON LATER PRESSINGS.

cover: un-laminated GF first pressed  cover ..superb clean EX++  condition with  few LIGHT and small creases... the spine is nice,square,clean and uncrushed with ALL  the text clearly visible…inside is nice and clean,no signgs of use at all...opening edges are nice,straight  and sharp,again NO signs of  use ....no rips,tears,splits or any other damages..

record,visual:  superb clean EX- and EX  with LIGHT hairlines caused by the inner sleeve …,...it still retains it’s beautiful original sheen and looks GREAT ..…

record,audio:  THIS IS A GREAT PLAYING COPY WITHOUT ANY SINGS OF GROOVEWEAR,GREAT PRESSING… THERE ARE SOME LIGHT POPS BUT HARDLY ANY  BACKGROUND NOISE ( EVEN IN THE RUN-IN GROOVES,PLACES BETWEEN TRACKS  AND QUIET PARTS ) BUT THIS IS NOT INTRUSIVE AT ALL AND  HARDLY NOTICABLE DURING THE MUSIC…NO SKIPS,JUMPS OR STICKING AT ALL..

labels:  nice and clean   with  light spindle hole marks  .… no tears,stamps or any other damages...

Gradings: I ALWAYS TRY TO DO MY BEST IN GIVING ACCURATE,HONEST AND VERY STRICT GRADINGS BY USING THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

I ALSO USE  PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.

VINYL WILL FIRST BE INSPECTED VISUALLY VERY CAREFULLY UNDER STRONG LIGHT..I DON'T HAVE TIME TO PLAY EVERY SINGLE RECORD  FROM START TO END ( WHO DOES ? ) - HOWEVER,I  TESTPLAY SKIPPING THROUGH  TRACKS ON BOTH SIDES ( INCLUDING RUN-IN,RUN-OUT GROOVES AND THE SPACES BETWEEN TRACKS ) TO CHECK THE OVERALL PLAYBACK  QUALITY.

ALL TESTPLAYING IS DONE ON TOP QUALITY EQUIPMENT- LINN SONDEK WITH ITTOK TONEARM AND BENZ MICRO GLIDER S MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE,McINTOSH TUBE AMPMS AND AMT ESS HEIL SPEAKERS.
