Quartettsatz는 하나의 악장으로만 되어있는데 슈베르트가 완전한 길이의 사중주를 위해 썼다 이 곡은 현악5중주 송어를 작곡한 뒤 아마도 잊혀졌겠지만 마치 미완성 교향곡의 두 악장처럼, 무르익은 작품임에 틀림없다. 이것은 정말로 활기로 가득 찬 연주이다. - Stereo Review
