Description
Jules Levy Columbia A-180 cornet/Rough Rider's bugler
Famed cornetist Jules Levy plays "Palm Branches" on Big Note label Columbia A-180 (take-2).
On the reverse side, is an historical selection, believed to be played by Emil Cassi, Colonel Theodore Roosevelt's actual trumpeter. It is announced as "Bugle calls sounded at San Juan Hill, Santiago, Cuba, by the Chief Trumpeter of Roosevelt's Rough Riders."
This 78rpm record is in excellent to excellent-minus (E to E-) condition.
