Description
Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of the Julius Watkins Sextet 'New Faces-New Sounds' 10" LP on Blue Note Records BLP 5053. Other musicians include Frank Foster, Perry Lopez, George Butcher, Oscar Pettiford, and Kenny Clarke.
Record info:
VG+ with a few minor scuffs but does play with a moderate amount of surface noise.
Cover info:
Strong VG+ with solid seams with some wear. The front cover has a library style #d sticker on top left corner. The back cover has a price sticker on upper left corner and a X on upper right.
Label / Pressing info:
Original 767 Lexington Ave. address label deep groove mono press with RVG initials and Ear logo on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
