July by July - UK 1968 1st press vinyl LP Exceptional copy MMLP 29 on the Major Minor label A reluctant sale, I bought this LP on its release in 1968 as a student in Ealing, having met Tom and the band. I've cherished it ever since. Rarely played, it is in Ex/VG+ condition The sleeve is in VG condition with minor creases of age and signed on the back by Tom Newman (see pic). Inner sleeve original Ex/VG

This is one of the rarest Prog Psychedelic rock LPs in music history. and a Once in a Lifetime chance to own a signed copy!

A treasured possession of mine FROM NEW, it hasn’t been played for many years. I would say that, according to an Ebay Record Grading Guide/Record Collector Magazine, this LP is in Excellent/VG condition:

'Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.'

The centre label is in excellent condition with no spindle marks.

The sleeve is in good condition with no tears or marks, signed by Tom Newman, and just showing slight wear and a couple of creases reflecting its 48 year age...


I have treated this record as a treasured possession since buying it in 1968 and I think the condition reflects that. I don’t have any equipment I would feel comfortable testing it out on but I can say that the last time it was played, so long ago, it played fine.
