- All of our used records are play-graded and come in a protective outer-sleeve.
CONDITION DETAILS Import from UK. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks great; very light scuffing and a few surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (artwork/album-info). Spine is easy-to-read with very mild wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Tabor teams up with one of Britain's leading folk-rock outfits, the Oyster Band, with fairly successful results, although it won't be the favorite of June's most traditionally-minded fans. She takes all the lead vocals on these fully electrified arrangements. The material is certainly varied, including both traditional numbers and covers of contemporary folk and rock tunes by Richard Thompson, Si Kahn, the Pogues, Billy Bragg, and the Velvet Underground. Oysterband and Tabor would reunite for the 2011 album Ragged Kingdom.
