Rare Belgian original LP + Insert !!!

KANDAHAR: Long Live the Sliced Ham (Dwarf#LP1 Belgium 1974)

Kandahar, a Belgian band formed by Karel Bogard and Jeff De Visscher made a
jazzy/progressive album that  holds the middle between ‘Gong-Soft Machine-Cos’
on the one hand and  the little more commercial sound of ‘Focus-Steely Dan-Flock’
on the other. Karel Bogard an intellectual musician with a huge interest of Eastern
music, but mainly a blues and jazz musician makes an interesting album that’s not one
of the two. This is progressive rock with synthesizer, jazz brass and even a madrigal
choir is added...The album was released on ‘Dwarf’ their own label. Kandahar was not
underrated in the early seventies, but completely unknown for people outside Belgium.
Today the bids on their records are amazing high (50 Euros and much more).

A superb quality of music and very highly recommended !!!

Once again one-of-a-kind rarity !!!
