rare German first press vinyl 8LP box set released in the 1960s on "TULIP" stereo DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) label with catalognumber 643501/508. the clothbound box comes complete with different laminated picture cover for each LP featuring some great photos of Karajan in action... The box, picture sleeves and vinyl all in perfect NEARMINT/MINT condition - best copy I have seen in years... Fantastic 1962 reference performances by Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality ...see photo.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
