rare German first press vinyl 8LP box set released in the 1960s on "TULIP" DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) stereo label with catalognumbers SLPM 138801-808. This set comes with the original front laminated clothbound box and with each LP housed in a laminated picture cover... The box, sleeves and vinyl all AS NEW in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! Vinyl is obviously mostly unplayed - best copy I have seen in years - and the vinyl has the year 1962 stamped in the dead wax... Fantastic 1962 reference performance by Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality. Don't miss this perfect set... see photo.
