Description

1970 Beethoven Edition Hebert Von Karajan conducts Berlin Philharmonic in this Deutsche Gramophone edition of the Complete 9 Symphonies on 8 disks. These are awe inspiring performances of Ludwig Von Beethoven's 9 symphonies.
Disks are in very good to excellent condition, exhibiting few pops or ticks typical of vinyl recordings from this era. Sleeves are perfect. Collection box shows some scuffing on the top edge from shelving and the dust jacket has some edge damage and a tear (see photographs). The box in excellent, the gold foil labeling shows no fade or tarnish. Eight page booklet contains history and credits along with program guide. Creepy photo of Beethoven's death mask graces the inside cover.
