rare German first press vinyl 8LP boxset released 1962 on 'tulip' DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) label with 'ALLE HERSTELLER' and catalognumbers 004 301 - 004 308 (KL 1 - KL 8). Yes, it states the year 1962 in the trail-off vinyl... This boxset is limited and has the very low number 'VII 060' ... The beautiful linen-style box, complete with 24-page booklet and postcard inviting to a Karajan subscription, plus all vinyl 'AS NEW' in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks. Fantastic performances by Karajan - the professor at his best!!  Audiophile and collectors alike appreciate these very early tulip DGG recordings for their stunning soundquality - don't miss ...!!
