KATH/BADGE - 4 track EP on private label from Maryland 1978. Here's a real trip, probably the first copy ever offered on eBay of an extremely rare EP from main KATH guy Val Rogolino, done a couple of years after the legendary "KATH 1" album, which was recently reissued by Rockadelic. The EP (released as "Badge") is in the same style as the LP, meaning late 60s-sounding melodic psychedelia with a Beatles/Byrds feel. One track from this EP was included on the Rockadelic album as a bonus track, the other 3 are unique to the EP (i e: never reissued), and includes a later, possibly superior version of "It doesn't mean". All four tracks are Kath/Badge originals, recorded with a better fidelity than the album but retaining the lost-in-time feel. Outstanding stuff, I just love this band. Condition is Mint (unplayed), never issued with a picture sleeve.

I have been collecting and dealing rare 1960s-70s records and items for 25 years. All items are graded M/M-/Ex/Vg++/Vg+/Vg/Vg-/G/F/P based on both aural and visual aspects. “M” corresponds to 10/10 on a 1-10 scale, while “P” equals 1/10. I rarely offer records below Vg+. This is a grading system used by many LP dealers, and I use it for other types of items as well. Grading for LPs/45s is disc/sleeve.
