ITEM:  Rare 1969 Kay Robinson We Need Time King Records TEST PRESSING. This LP was produced by the almighty James Brown!! COMES WITH ORIGINAL CUE/APPROVAL SHEET!! Plain white labels with handwritten text. Comes in new plain white cardboard 12" sleeve. Please scroll down for more information and to see numerous photos.

CONDITION:  LP is VG/VG+. Has some light surface scuffs but is really quite beautiful. Still retains a high gloss. A really excellent copy of this rarity. Please see numerous photos below!

NOTES:  LP comes with original approval sheet dated December 11, 1969. Also comes with original 12" sleeve that says "Ellis" in the upper right corner, indicating whose copy this originally was (I believe he was actually a musician on this LP, as some of my other Ellis King test pressings also list him as a musician/songwriter). A NOTE ON TEST PRESSINGS:  Test pressings were manufactured in extremely small numbers, usually to be distributed only to members of the band and their associates. Those receiving copies of the test pressing would review it for fidelity, mix, any physical flaws to the stampers, and any other flaws or inconsistencies. Basically they are a way to review what a record will sound like before it is pressed for mainstream distribution. They are far rarer than promo copies or any other pressings, as often there are less than 10 of a given test pressing made.
