Description

About This Item: Rare and beautiful original Cook Road Recordings 5002 Deep Groove first pressing of K.C. Douglas "Blues and a Guitar" from whose song the group "Canned Heat" got it's name. The vinyl is a solid VG++ with moderate play as there are no scratches or needle marks and as you'll find looking at the spindle hole this was played perhaps a handful of times, if that. Both labels are spotless. The cover is VG. What keeps it from being graded any better is the upper and lower split seams which have been taped, the spine is perfect. The front cover has some light wear while the back has a sticker from an Akron, Ohio record store on the lower left corner, a 1-1/2" x 1" tear on the upper right and the script signature of Quine in blue ballpoint pen, this is the infamous guitarist Robert Quine who was born and raised in around Akron. There you have it folks. I'm sure I don't need to tell you just how rare this LP is do I?
