Description
LP by K.C. DOUGLAS, "A Dead-Beat Guitar And The Mississippi Blues" on Cook Road Recordings (5002), first press mono from 1956. One of the rarest blues LPs around, this is the only copy I've ever seen in 35 years of collecting. Cuts are: Canned Heat, Catfish, Big Road Blues, Kansas City, I Got The Key, Casey Jones, Mercury Blues, I Met The Blues This Morning, I Have My Women, Had I Money. Vinyl is VG with a few scuffs and lite scratches. Plays very well with lite background noise pretty much throughout the whole LP that does not overpower the music. The noise may very well be a technical part of the pressing as I have had several other LPs from this label and they all play fairly noisy, even the clean ones. Jacket is a strong, respectable VG with lite age and grime wear. There is a 3 inch seam split on top and a 4 inch split on the spine. As always, will gladly combine shipping on multiple wins. US winner pays $6.00 priority or $2.00 media rate shipping. Overseas shipping is extra. Not responsible for lost or broken records, insurance is available for US buyers. Paypal, cash, and money orders accepted. Sorry, no personal checks.
