Description

Keef Hartley Band The Battle of North West Six 1969 UK original vinyl album on the Deram red/white label, catalogue number SML 1054 (stereo)

The numbers and letters stamped on the vinyl are:- Side 1: ZAL-9179.P-1W   1   K     JT Side 2: ZAL-9180.P-1W   1   U    JT

This is a heavy vinyl and it is not warped. Both sides of the record have some light surface scratches and bag marks visible when viewed under a strong light, but I cannot feel any of them with light fingertip touch. The record plays well all the way through, very clearly, with just some light crackle where it can be heard and a few random ticks - the audio is really excellent. There are no sticks, no skips, no jumps and very little lessening of the sound quality.

The track titles can be seen on the label photographs. The labels have some light spindle lines and slight signs of handling - no writing, no damage.

The cover is a gatefold type. It does not have any laminate or coating. The front surface has just a little rub wear which is not very noticeable, the back is similar, but it also has a blue Dymo-taped number and name in the top left corner - it may be possible to remove this, but I am not going to try as there is always the possibility of doing more harm than good and it's not causing any trouble where it is! There is minimal rub wear to the tips of the corners and edges. The centre piece is in excellent condition. This is the original peephole cover for mono/stereo recognition.

The spine is in generally good order, but there is a little rub wear and a few small scuffs which affect the text in places, so it is not 'fully' readable.

The inner sleeve is a large STEREO blue block version with poly-liner - no seam splits, just one tear from the centre which has been repaired.

I have checked the Record Collector grading system and I would say that the gatefold is 'very good+'.possibly 'near excellent', the record is visually 'excellent' and the audio is 'excellent'.

I have described this as carefully and honestly as possible, but it is a no return item so please bid accordingly.

It will be packed in a record mailing box with two pieces of card inside for further protection.
